It's not completely unusual for Kitty to be standing like in the picture, Stock still, ears perked and eyes focused on a small unfortunate, recently, thought-to-be disabled, crab at her feet.
If left to her hunt, she will eat the body and leave the legs in a neat little pile.
If I make the slightest sound, or stop what I'm doing, it distracts her and the possum playin crab bolts to the nearest hole it can fit in for dear life.
Between my bug eating pooch and a family of lizards, I really don't seem to have the bug problem the most boat around here have!
